i love the dirty dancing soundtrack - i like all the old school music.

the soundtrack from 'the wedding date' was all that kept me interested in the film i went to see today
 
Yes yes!! I've had the soundtrack ever since I was 5 and first saw the movie! :sigh:

I also really like the Garden State soundtrack and Walk the Line.

Also, Magnolia, Vanilla Sky, About a Boy, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Good Will Hunting soundtrack are other favorites.

Almost Famous has a ton of great tunes, some well known and some not, from the late 60's to early 70s
 
- Chicago...just simply awesome
- Pirates of the Caribbean - I thought it would be good to study by because it's a score, but I kept getting distracted because I could picture all the scenes the tracks were from...is that disturbing?
- Daredevil - great rock songs, and a few sad ones.
- Moulin Rouge 1 & 2 - well, obviously, kick-ass musical will have kick-ass music. I LOVE "Come What May" :'(
- Love Actually is also quite good. I love the "All I Want For Christmas Is You" by that girl :D

I also loved Forrest Gump's soundtrack, and Titanic'ssoundtrack meant a lot to me when the movie came.
There's so much great soundtracks. I just realised a couple of days ago that the music I listen is mainly movie themed. Strange thing.

All the song are great!!!!!!! And is all of 80's, that for me is the best time in music!
 
Singles: Partly just because the music is great and partly for nostalgia. Good old Seattle, good old grunge. How I miss those days!!

Rushmore: I love seventies/classic rock, and this soundtrack has The Who, The Kinks, John Lennon, Cat Stevens!! The original music is great too.

I also tend to like most soundtracks that are more classically based, more instrumental. I love The Fellowship of the Ring soundtrack. At the moment I'm a little bit obsessed with listening to it.

Also love the soundtrack to Shine. Crouching Tiger soundtrack is good too.
