The two-seat Duo design is a "sociable" side-by-side cycle. This two seat, four wheel bike comfortably and safely carries two persons, allowing people of differing athletic capability or preference to ride together in harmony. The Duo best fits persons from 4'10" to 6' 4".
Compared to our original four wheel bike, the MicroCar, the Duo is a little lighter and can be "knocked-down" more for transport or storage. There are two widths of Duo, and the narrow version can fit through a standard 36" exterior doorway when the seats are removed.
The Duo comes standard equipped with the Cargo Pod, a fabric cargo hammock with waterproof zip-open cover. The capacious, 75#-rated Pod is capable of holding grocery, touring gear, or supplies for a very large picnic. Alternatively, the wider version accommodates the ActionPacker tote box, which provides lockable, tightly-weatherproof cargo containment. When used without the lid, a tote box can carry a small or medium size pet.
