What is the best midi controller to use with Ableton 8 and Reason 5?

I have been messing around with both programs alot lately and have decided that I want to get a controller that is compatible with both programs. Since I am on a budget right now I would like to get a midi keyboard that has knobs and pads. I would like to have a keyboard with around 61 keys but would be willing to sacrifice the key count for well placed pads and knobs. Any information would be great. Thanks
