What is the best method for selling my baseball card collection?

I collected baseball cards in the late 1980's. I have rookie cards and series for 1987, 1988, 1989 (Fleer sets,Topps Donruss sets, 1989 Original sealed Upper Deck set -rookie cards - Ken Griffey Jr. Barry Bonds Mark McGuire - and much more. How should I sell it? One lot at a card show? Ebay? Local City? I need to unload this large commodity, but I want to maximize my earnings. How would you sell it?
 
In our area we have something called a Pop Culture fair - where people rent booths to sell their collectables. I bet there is something similar in your area ... you could team up with friends with stuff to sell to.
