what is the best method for fishing?

A)use a medium pole one that handles lures Weighing 1/4-3/4oz ,
B) use 6 pound test fishing line C) try a in-line spinner all kinds of fish take these things
D) try at dusk or dawn or anything time you got its better than working.

E ) for cat fish try night time use a egg Weight, a swivel a number six hook , cast it and sit and wait ,may be you could bring a snack or something and relax you might catch a cat fish , eel , a snapping turtle or a Bass .Use a night crawler for bait, use the same method for carp but use corn
Read some books and magazine try something different once in a while rubber worms are good for bass good luck
 
i have been fishing but haven't caught anything! ive fished at a place where there is bass, carp, crappie, and catfish but havent caught anything. what ive done was i used a bobber thingy and a night crawler. but i dont know if i need the bobber or not. i didnt have enough time to test it out.
 
Hmmm. There is tons of different types of fishing but for the type that your doing I highly recomend using Johnson Beetle Spins. They work great for the type of fishing your doing and are simple to use. They are cheap enough and you can find them at any outdoor recreation store like gander mountain cabelas or bass pro shop. With beetle spins you can either cast and reel or troll with a boat. Hope your fishing picks up!
