What is the best Hu (Head Unit)(DVD)(Double Din)?

Must play DVDs, which models are the best? Looking at Alpine and Kenwood DD screens.
 
was looking at buying a alpine but did not want to spend that kind of money, i went and bought a valor. Very bright vivid screens, ok crossovers but i am using externals anyway, plays everything you can throw at it. For 300.00 it is very powerful at 250 watts, still i cranked it to over 2000 with external amps
