What is the best gaming console?

the Wii seems to be the most popular, but what is the best for the price. I know that XBOX 360 and the PS3 have superb graphics, but they are very expensive compared to whe wii (which is only $250). What is your opinion on the best console?
 
PS3 is the best out there at the moment and is 100% future proof with free 3D updates coming in 5 days. Free online too, and has the best hardware and graphics
