What is the best deal you could get on a 2005 Mazda MAZDA3 i ?

I understand the economy is bad, and you can usually bargain at the dealerships, I think I could probably get one for around 10k. What do you think? also, if you have anything to say about the 2005 MAZDA3 i: likes/dislikes etc, that would be great!
