What is the best cooking method on a small boat?

We have a 21ft cabin cruiser SeaRay that we're taking to the lake this weekend. We are trying to figure out how to cook on the boat. Should we take the propane tank and get a small propane grill? Or hook up an electric burner? We do have two batteries, but we're worried that the electric burner will suck up too much energy. any advice?
 
I would go with the propane grill. Coleman makes a small grill that has worked great for me on camping trips and such. You can find them at Walmart, and there not to spendy either
