What is the best chip for Ford 7.3 that I can change on the fly?
I am looking to put a chip in my 1999 7.3 MANUAL diesel. I would like to have it be able to shift on the fly with a switch to the dash if possible but would also like it not to be cheap. I am not worried about cost, I want this thing to be good and last. I want to be able to change the settings when I hit the drive into the mountains but I don't want to have to get out and shut the truck off to do it. What is the best options I have? Then you need what is call the "Juice Box" and with "Attitude" I have installed a few of these, WOW they are impressive. You will get a choice of stock, 1,2,3,4,5 settings all from the small screen you mount on the dash. On #5, attitude you will have tire smoking power from off idle, but people run them on about #3. You get on the screen on the dash constant exhaust temperature to monitor and can be set as to kick the box off at whatever temp you set it for to prevent engine melt down. it has a factory setting it comes with but is adjustable.
