What is the best chain lube for bikes ?

The best chain oil for a bike is BICYCLE chain oil sold at a real bike shop. WD-40 IS NOT a lubricant. It's meant to knock off rust and/or loosen bolts, nuts, etc. Engine oil is terrible...too thick & attracts dust, dirt & other debris.

Now that you've screwed up the chain, get that bike to a real bike shop, have them take off & clean the chain, and reinstall it. Plenty of real chain oils on the link below. Or any bike shop carries chain oil.
 
I used WD 40 somehow it comes off very quickly and starts to squeek again.
I'd tried engine oil but it's having some nasty gum building on the side of the chains and the dearaileur.
