What is the best cell phone/mobile phone program with Internet included?

We are seniors who want to travel to little places but want a phone system that is transportable and also can (maybe) access the Internet and also free long distance in one package per month or year??? We have never had a cell phone so please speak as if we are kindergarteners, okie-dokie!!!!!????
 
HI! There are MANY choices out there.. The top two i would suggest you look at are Verizon Wirelss, or AT&T,
There are senior plans, With about 250 Minuets a month, and it runs around 19.99 a month if im not mistaken. Internet is a extra 15.00 per Line, but its unlimited. If your looking in to getting 2 phones, Then you are going to have to look at a Family Share Plan, and those are slightly more, It really all depends on how much you talk :)

Verizon Beats AT&T in coverage, They have WAY more coverage than AT&T, However AT&T Beats verizon at Internet Speeds. AT&T has the Nations fastest 3G Network :)
