When you are choosing a design program (Flash) or a programming language, or server scripting language (PHP) you shouldn't pick it with what you are going to get the job faster. It's smarter to choose by what you will like more. If you like something, chances are you will do well and get a few raises or maybe one promotion. If you don't like what you are doing you will be stuck in it, and feel kinda sad (Or worse: a need to vent...) until you get a different job.
From knowing a few languages, and a bit of Flash; I can tell you, that choosing a code is just like choosing a job in real life. Some are strict, some aren't. Some are flexible and some aren't. Some are more visual. Some focus more on design. Some are object based and others aren't...
Bassically, you are going about it the wrong way. You really shouldn't just pick a language based on that, it takes years to learn them properly; and your life will be more fullfilling if the language is closer to the way you think. Remember: Programming languages and design programs were designed by people too...
