The price varies depending upon if you take the motor out yourself at wrecking yards such as Pick a Part, or Pull a part. Or buying the engine rebuilt or new. Ballpark estimate $300-3,000. Last month I installed an engine on a similar year Honda for roughly $1200. The engine had less than 50,000 miles on it and came with a 1 year warranty.
