What is the average period of time viewed by society for teens to start having sex?

How long do you think a teen couple should be going out before they start any form of sexual activity. Also what age do you think would is acceptable in teenage years for sex?

i think it depends on the couple if they think they r ready then it ok but u both need a sober consent be for have sex and be for u do talk it over with each other and use birth control and a condom

At least one year and age 17 or older. and they should absolutely be on birth control

you cant state any specific time, because all people are different and take longer or shorter to get that close. but a range could be anywhere from 1 week(most are already experienced) from age 14 and up to 1or 2 years(mostly for those who truly want to wait for the one).
