The 1996 Civic LX that I drive has a D16Y7 engine that is SOHC and has 106 HP. The 1996 Civic EX and some other models, however, come with the D16Y8 SOHC V-TEC engine that has 128 HP. If both models of Civic were to do a 0-60 run, how much time would each car take to reach 60 MPH? The only reason that I'm asking is because whenever I try looking up the 0-60 acceleration time for Civics, various websites will give me only a single acceleration time, which obviously cannot be true for all Civics because they have different engines with different amounts of power.
What is the 0-60 acceleration time of a 1996 Honda Civic?
