I have a Jack Dempsey, and he/she is about 7 or 8 years old. Lately (the past two weeks) he's had this stuff on him. It seems like it is mostly on his head, and some on the body coming out from between the scales. It is this white stuff that looks almost like a tiny white ball of lint. Kind of fuzzy looking (may just be looking at it in water) and some of the ones that have disappeared have left a small hole or abscess where they once were. What is this stuff? How do I get rid of it?
