What is that extremly bright star.....?

next to the moon? Venus and Jupiter was visible in roughly the same location in december so I was wondering if it is still possible to see. To me it resembles the muslim symbol of the crescent moon and star only further apart.

On a slightly more unlikely note, is it possible it could be Nibiru/ Planet X, as if it (Nibiru) were real wouldn't it be visible by now, supposing it is meant to 'arrive' by 2012? Just a theory lol.

Yup its venus, on my astronomy calendar for today it says crescent moon near venus at dusk - beautiful lol
 
'Lol' theories have been discredited. And for religion: don't you think primitive man would have watched the skies? And made up stories.
 
Jupiter and Saturn have separated further apart. I don't know where Venus is, but that bright 'star' in that same direction is Jupiter.
