What is specialization after law school, medical school, dental school, etc.......?

For example, I really want to be a dentist so I need 8 years to become a dentist. To be more specific, I would like to treat only teens so some of the dentists told me after 8 years of education of dentistry (4 years of university and 4 years of dental school) you need to specialize.

So what does specialization mean?????
