I'm riding down with my stepdad next week for Rolling Thunder and Memorial Day, and was wonder ing if anyone out there knew what they do/what its like?
I'm REALLY curious overall if you are allowed to speak with possible vetrans(in my case, Vietnam) and ask around or something to see if anyone knew my former uncle.
You see, It's not like I have any memories of him to go off of. He died way before I was born (1968) and I'm just starting to learn about him. I know what he's like at home and stuff, but I have no idea what it was like for him in the war (He only served one year before getting shot down).
So I was really wondering if its even possible to ask around and see if there were anyone who served with him and could tell me about him?
Thanks so much for answering you have no idea how much it helps. God Bless.
