what is required to change transmissions in a 99' dodge neon?

okay well im getting more into the tuner racing sceen, i have had a new engine put in and numerous parts, but i still have an auto tranny. i was wondering on my neon fwd, how hard is it to change the tranny. do i need to drop my engine? ect any info about how to would be helpfull thanks
