Back in late 1990s, there was a series on PBS channel about various famous philosophers (I believe in chronological format) -- from Socrates to Kant to Marx. Does anyone know the name of that show?
The only part I recall well is a man in Victorian clothing finding a railroad watch in the middle of nowhere. It was about the assumption that the watch is something man-made, and not natural-made.
