What is ONE stupid questions/remark that you heard by news reporters or in the news?

A couple months ago on the local news on TV, I heard a comment by the local politician promoting fire safety in the home..."We have seen house fires that cause damage to the house" DUH! Have you ever seen a house fire that DIDN'T cause damage to the house?
