housemate: I've never seen anything like that and I have 2 guys living with me. I think you need to show these pictures to his doctor and have him get evaluated. He could have urinary problems. It doesn't look healthy. I see specks of hair there too. Is he losing his hair alot? I hope if you're being intimate that you're using protection. Make him get checked for STD's and infections. I wouldn't be quiet about it with him. Tell him that you're concerned and make him address it - immediately. You need to stay safe and well. Good luck.

have no idea...very strange though. if you thinkit's him, check his underwear and see if theres anything there...only suggestion I have.

Please help. I am a girl, living with a boy. EVERY DAY the bathroom gets destroyed with these weird dots. I have no idea what it is. It appears EVERYWHERE after he has been in the bathroom - especially the toilet seat and the bath. These pictures were taken one day after i bleached the whole bathroom and didn't use it just to test it was him.

They can only be described as black spots of some sort. Sometimes they even appear a bit red. Please! What the hell is it and what do I do?!!

Rather than playing detective(get out your black light),just ask him if he knows what it is.

If you figure it out, please report back.

It looks to me like it could be dried blood...have you tried asking him about it.
I wouldnt use the toilet or bathroom before disinfecting it every single time after he has used it..alternatively cant you get some hygiene or health experts to come and have a look at it?

I did a very strategic "hey! have you noticed these black spots in the bathroom and on the toilet seat! Maybe it's mould!" just to get him aware. No response. He thinks it's dust. It's literally EVERYWHERE after he has used the bathroom. Even the basin sometimes, so i don't know if it's blood...and trust me, I DISINFECT that bathroom every day...

ditto Paul61...when you see the evidence, call him, ask him..."what is this"?. You have pics...show him, ask him...because you clean it up daily.

It's obviously blood...red upon being wet. Pubic lice...aka crabs, or he's scratching like crazy enough to cause scabs or whatever. It's not just a bit..it's a LOT..
Creepy to me.

If you share the laundry...don't! If you share towels...don't!

Hmmm......How well do you know him? Are you frienRAB? A couple, just housemates? I ask because I'm just wondering how well you know each other.

Can it be vomit? Even though it's not as common men can have things like bulemia, anorexia also.

Please let us know.
Good luck to you!

Okay, possibly it's specks of dried blood from crabs (they'd be present in his sheets and undies as well) but I have one other theory no one brought up.

Does he use an electric razor? Could it be beard dust? If he's shaving at a sink next to the toilet, he might be knocking the razor by the trash can (to knock the dust out of it) and getting it on the toilet in the process.

the shaver dust came to my mind as well...my husband blows it into the sink or tub...perish the thought of him tapping it into the toilet onto the bowl...but I've never seen blood specks which seem obvious in the pic.

Does this guy have red hair?...

I'll have to take some of my husband's shaver dust and wet it..maybe that could be something to it....

oh, but I'm so curious to know..lol.

;)eww I can feel your disgust...hopefully someone on this board will have seen spots like these before and can help you out asap.
Unless its some sort of cream or soap that he uses.
Hope you get ur answer soon.

Just out of curiosity do you have a cat or dog? Fleas can leave little dried blood specks on pets and then when they go to drink out of the toilet/sink they fall off and look like that.

could he have pubic lice? He could be scratching and the eggs, pieces of bugs, blood, could be flying all over.

Are you intimate?
