I'm from a Christian family and hear all the time that listening to music (anything not about God), watching tv/films and reading non Christian materials is wrong and you should avoid it, even though I can see this would be the case with stuff like horror movies, excessive lyrics on sex/drugs/violence and anything blatantly anti-Christian like satanic/demon/devil worship stuff, I don't see what the problem is. In any case, my family do actually watch/listen and read all these materials (what is acceptable of course). So I'd like to know what other Christians think on this subject, do you watch/listen to non-Christian stuff and not worry about doing 'wrong', or what are your views/thoughts on this in general.
