I all the sudden started thinking about elevation and realized i dont know what it really means. lets use mount everest as an example. it is 29,029 ft. Does that mean that it is 29,029 feet inclining from base to summit or does that mean that if you are standing on top of it and it was a straight drop it would be 29,029 feet to the bottom. did that make sense?
