What is more capable off road, A toyota 4runner v8 sport, or a toyota FJ cruiser?

I will be buying a 2005 4runner v8 sport soon and just thought i should consider the fj cruiser too. Im 19yrs old. I like moutain biking and camping, and enjoy off roading,not rock crawling or things like that, mostly mudding and trails. So if you have any opinions or info to help me choose. please share. Thanks
