What is meant by wind mitigation inspection in Fla.?

My insurance company said I can possibly get a discount on my house insurance after paying for a wind mitigation inspection. It cost $85 for a separate company to do that.

Having an inspector certify that you have anchor bolts, roof tie-downs and other stuff to stop your house coming apart in a high wind.
It might save $85 if you can figure out whether you have that or not first, but I dare say it would be a whole lot more that that to actually get the work done.
