what is making my 1994 dodge dakota barely move?

I just bought this thing this morning. It was running fine but now it loses power after five minutes. I just drove it home at about 5 mph. if I turn it off it will run half ass for 30 seconds then its like screw you again. any ideas would be great. thanks.
 
dint you check everything out before buying it didnt you do a 30 minute test drive id say the same thing the other gut said
