What is "Lincoln's Legacy" In your own words.?

For school I have to write an essay on "Lincoln's Legacy." In your opinion, what is his Legacy? Thank you.

This essay must be 272 words or less, the Length of the Gettysburg address. So please don't give me this long drawn out thesis that is worthy of a college report, I'm in 6th grade!

Honestly, I look up to him for how hard he tried to keep the country together. He had his priorities together.
