...for cooking? Its not "sour cream" either everyone says that it is but its not. We don't have "half and half" (the coffee cream) here so does anyone actually know what half and half is so that I can buy something like it but without the brand name? Also what about cream cheese for recipes, I have never been able to find that or "heavy creme" here.
 
I don't think it has a name in English, I miss laban and all the other good Middle Eastern food.:(


I'm not sure what this "half and half" are you talking about the milk that is mixed with tea? shahee haleeb? like this one?
