i have a1978 wagoneer and i am having problems getting thw 4wd to engage i have a knob in the glove box that says quadratrac emergency drive and if you turn it to the right and emergency drive light comes on. the other side says normal 2wd. i also have a lever on the floor that says low range. i managed to get stuck in the front yard the other day i forgot to lock the lockers but i had it in low range i did lock the lockers after i got stuck but it didint change anything i remained stuck and the front wheels didint try to turn if some one could please diagnose my problem it would be greatly appreciated.
