I am a 40 year old male who since the Spring has been experiencing some weird symptoms. I cannot place it but it starts with what I think is fluttering or a spasm in my throat that takes my breath away which in turn makes me panic. I cannot tell if it is coming from my esophagus or my trachea. Sometimes it is very light and sometimes it comes with such force. It happens most days but there have been some days I have not really noticed. But I constantly think about it everyday. Is it in my mind or what?
I recently had an endoscopy done to see if maybe I had bad acid reflux or GERD and it is neither with the diagnosis as moderate reflux. I am on Nexium now but like I said it all started this Spring before all of that.
