all the ones I know of seem to have done sex scenes, some extreamly graphic.

Examples:
Marion Cotillard
Eva Green
Virginie Ledoyen
Audrey Tautou
Emmanuelle Beart
Sophie Marceau
Juliette Binoche
Julie Delpy
Catherine Deneuve
Ludivine Sagnier
Vanessa Paradise


Now I can't say i've seen most of the actresses in film - seen two of them in Bond films - but I have sceen clips and some of them could be x-rated.

Maybe it's more common in French Cinema or maybe it's because i've only heard of a small handful of the more famous acresses who have moved on into the mainstream.

btw, i'm not complaining :D
 
If you want to broaden it to Eurpoean then i'll add Valeria Golino. So sultry & sexy.

And then Leonor Watling. Amazing breasts :D

Again, both seem to have no problems with nudity or sex scenes in films :)
 
The clue's in your original question. They're French!

They have rather more relaxed attitudes towarRAB nudity on the continent, not really breaking news surely.

I'm all in favour of it. :D Eva Green is particularly impressive. :cool:
 
Like someone has mentioned, French and other European women tend to be more relaxed when it comes to nudity and sex. I don't see the sex/nudity in French films with those actresses as extremely graphic... extremely graphic to me is something like the French film Baise Moi.



She has a new film out soon called Cracks that I have been waiting ages to see, should be amazing if it sticks close to the book.
 
Eva Green in The Dreamers gets it all out. I haven't seen all of the film but from what I did see she seemed to spend more time with her clothes off.


Another thing that the European movies seem to have is voilent sex scenes (including rape). Mabe they do just think that to show it without and sex would be unrealistic so they are being more truthful to the story.
 
Was just talking to someone about Monica Bellucci. I can't think of many films where she hasn't done a sex scene.
The two I came up with were The Matrix and The Passion.
