I'm a junior in HS and want to join after graduating and I just want a little info on BT.

Soldier was dead on. Looking back it was easy. The hardest part is 1. being away from family 2. being controlled constantly by someone 3. doing a lot of physical activities. Nothing that thousands of other people have not gone through. You have only one thing you can do, succeed and pass basic. As for add on, if you go infantry the training will be slightly different because you will go through OSUT where all your DS are infantry and you concentrate more on infantry tasks throughout basic and AIT. You get more experiences using weapons, night ops, and you spend more time out in the field doing patrols and other infantry tasks. I thought some parts were actually fun. Hope this helps. If you have any other questions, call your recruiter in the area and talk with them as well. You dont have to sign anything and it will help a ton. Of course asking questions here is good as well. Good luck.

You wake up early, do pt (run every other day and strength train every other day) scarf down all your meals. Live in close proximity to other basic trainees usualy in a large room full of bunkbeds. You will be assigned a battle buddy who will be with you everywhere you go. You will be responsible for both of your actions. You will train every day on different basic skills. Drill sgts will yell at you and probably make you do some pushups or something if you or your battle buddy do something wrong but you will learn quickly. You will go to bed at night and have set lights out. During the night everybody takes a gaurd shift. Then you wake up and do it again. It will not be easy sometime but it isn't impossible and after you get through will think it was simple.
