i don't want to make the military my career but i would just really like to experience it. so i would like to enlist for the shortest amount of time possible. what is the shortest enlistment they offer?
but my main question is, what is it like? walk me through the average infantry soldier's day. not a soldier thats in iraq or afganistan. just here in the states. what happens in your average day. and would you consider it a fun job? i know this is silly but my main inspiration comes from playing video games. i play call of duty constantly and it just seems like getting to fire amazing weapons would be a blast in real life. i'm not blood hungry, i don't want to kill anybody. but i will serve my country if i'm called to duty.
