Scientific advancements?
The largest bulk of scientific advancements weren't spawned in Buddhist, or Hindu countries. The internal combustion engine wasn't developed in the Ottoman Empire, and the Native Americans didn't mass produce Steam Engines.
To say it was generally suppressed, maybe even citing one or two examples of where a "Christian" government official hindered a Christian who was a Scientist is worse than burying your head in the sand. It's intellectual dishonesty. If all Advancement needed was not to be hindered, why didn't Animistic tribes develop the airplane?

christianity did NOT spawn scientific advancements, infact before their times (roman ect. days) they're were major scientific advancements, then when it got to dark ages it basically got supressed for around 1000 years mainly due to catholics n christians, who would kill scientists for their beleifs

Christianity had nothing or nothing to do with it. The UK's Royal Society & the USA's National Association of Scientists list the percentage of their members who believe in a personal God as 3% & 7% respectively
