I know they say to write what you know... and I'm writing a blog and a book about the horrific experience I had as a stalking victim. I don't use his name or my own name or even the name of our town. But I'm unsure what the exact laws are governing what I can and can't write about. It obviously doesn't paint a very good picture of this man and although I don't ever identify him, anyone that is related to him or I will know the writing is about him.
What is illegal in writing about personal experiences?
