What is i higher paying job if your 30 with no formal education?

Well depends on what you are willing to do, most places you have to start low and work your way up with out education.
Sales would be perfect if you are good with people, I made over 70,000 in sales straight out of highschool. But again thats a feast or famine situation, i also made 30,000 my second year, now its been awhile and ive moved on to sales management, more secure income eventually.
As a sales manager this is what i look for, personality, thats it, I can train product knowledge but i can't train someone to be an outgoing people person.

Any type of sales would require knowledge of a particular item only. If you are able talk a good game and create some personality traits it could be good. Also, any trade like plumber, electricians, welder, etc that you can get a certificate from trade school would be a steady income. But you got to start somewhere in which you have some interest. And also what is available in your area.
