What is "Hoodwinked 2"'s real date?

I think the film was delayed due to its distributors, The Weinstein Company's, ongoing troubles.

As for the BK toys, I think those kinds of promotions are planned way in advanced, and the release date can't be changed no matter what happens to the movie the toys relate to.
 
I had heard news about a sequel to Hoodwinked!, but that was years ago and I hadn't heard any follow-up since then, so I just assumed that the project had been scrapped.
 
It is delayed, and as soon as I saw those BK posters, I was really confused. Then again, it's the fault of the distributors, for not letting BK know.

Seems lke I'm the only person who knew there would be a sequel to Hoodwinked.
 
I also read that as well, right around the time the first movie came out on DVD. I thought that was wishful thinking due to the fact that I read that on Wikipedia. Honestly, I didn't even know that a sequel was in production until I saw that BK ad on Cartoon Network and Nick.
 
I heard about that sequel once. I remember reading about a possible sequel to Hoodwinked, but that was only a Wikipedia article and I didn't think that there was anything official. I didn't see any kind of promotions for the movie on Nick or Cartoon Network though. I haven't seen any Burger King posters either, but I'm a vegetarian anyway.
 
I'm really, really sorry if I'm reviving a dead thread here, but I was about to make a thread asking about this movie when I seen this thread, so....:sweat:

I was wondering if they were gonna make a sequel. Sweet.... I wanna see Twitchy again.:D I did some searching on it, and they're talking about it coming out sometime this year in theaters or somethin'. If it is coming out this year, I expect it to be sometime in the late summer or sometime in the fall.... that's my prediction anyways.
 
I heard about the sequel from BoxOfficeMojo when I was looking at the schedule, and my local Burger King still has cardboard cutouts on a box.
 
Evan though it's unknown when in 2010 will it be in threaters.

I will say I did like the Hansel & Gretal Plushie & The Twitchy Toy (evan though The Twitchy toy dosn't talk like it was suppose to).
