Sorry this is long. But if anyone knows about my new development, any help would be so grateful.
When I was 6, back in the late 70's I had a ruptured cerebral aneurysm which caused loss of most vision and a paralyses of my right side. I was able to slowly relearn since I was only a child when t happened.
But over the past, from blown arteries in my leg when I was 17 to other complications from arteries, I am having severe new challenges. My siezures are more mild now since the 1990s but this is all new:
I have had to ask my parents for all information about the 1970's, 1980 and part of early 1990's. Anyone who I have not seen since the past 12 years, they are all new to me.
There is no memory at all, I cannot remeraber anything. I use photogrphs to put pieces together but I cannot even remeraber gratuation from school.
I cannot understand people speaking unless they are very slow and is face to face with me. Plus is very difficult to comprehend unless it is very short and basic. (This is one of the worst problems as of now).
My short term is extremely difficult now. (it has been from the accident but has worsened)
But is seems my working memory and long term memory is fading. Though not as bad as the short term deterioration.
This has all been happening slowly since 2008. But because it was slow, I never seeked to a doctor till now and it is getting faster my the day. They will be doing tests at the hospital.
But I prefer to know what I might be faced with. Just to be prepared.
