What is happening to me?

I guess I might be having an allergic reaction right now... but it didn't start that way!

For a couple of days, I had a high fever, chills, sinus headache, dizziness, nausea, etc

Then I was better for one day

Now it's the attack of the red splotches! All over... and a little tightness to the chest. I took Benedryl and the tightness went away mostly... but seriously I can't figure out if this is related to the previous thing or not.

I don't have insurance, so I can't get checked out easily.

Nice boards BTW, I'll probably stick around.
 
wow - to be honest that is scary when two things happen in close proximity you may think they are related.. - they may be but they may not be,.. i tend to think its just a coincidence.. hey but good thing u took some benedryl it was good move.. and sounds like if it helped. the right one.. sounds like u were havng an allergy.. though with tightness in the chest.. could be axiety could be boderline anaphalaxis .. that is scary.. anyhow let someone around u know what is going on - if u live alone i think the prudent t hing to do it take ur self to the er... if blotches havent completely resolved or arnet improving.. same with the tightness
 
Thankfully I live in a research station and I have three roommates... so I have a lot of help if something serious happens... yeah, they pack us up like sardines in here. I told several people what was going on.
 
they are getting bigger... I told my boss and actually showed her the blotches, not sure what to do.
 
what % of your body do they cover? its good that u let someone know what was going on.. and uhave people around you... but to be honest -sounds like something that will need treatment..
