I have a 1995 Honda Accord, she has been a great car for many years. I took my car to have the pads replaced, they charged me $250.00, and put new pads on, without replacing the rotors. On the way home, no brakes!!! Took her back up there the next day, they said my master cylinder was cracked, and had to be replaced. I picked her up the next day, on the way home, I had no brakes! I called them to come pick my car up and they have had her for two days. They say they are stumped and no clue what is going on.
So far:
replaced brake pads
replaced master cylinder
bled the lines
replaced hoses
Still no brakes! Also have a horrible metal grinding noise in the back tires, they said it's from using my emergency brake. They better fix it, and not charge me!
Umm, I dont drive with my parking break on. I had to use my emergency brake to stop my car. I also believe that they just used a c-clamp on the brakes originally when replacing my pads instead of bleeding the lines. This particular mechanic has been working on my cars as well as my entire families cars for the past 25 years. i have no reason not to trust him.
