I need to know a good explination on global warming (NOT COPY OR PASTED FROM WEBSITES!)

Good morning,
Yes it is climate change due to man-made activity. But I have been studying Global Warming for over 10 years, and if its ok, id like to tell you more.
Global warming, IS a climate change, due to the thinning of the OZONE layer. The thinning and absence of a portion of the ozone layer can be seen in the northern hemisphere. Due to this, it has elevated our planets temperature. This has many a changes on planet earth, including but not limited to, the polar ice caps melting, and causing elevated water levels. it has effected Alaska.
In Alaska it has been melting the Permafrost. the permafrost consists of layers apon layers of frozen earth. in doing this it has caused methane gas to begin escaping through the earth, killing much vegetation, and grassy lands. however through this new plants have been blooming, plants that havent been seen for many a year. It is also releasing methane gas in certain parts of the ocean in alaska. which will effect the sea life. Also, very important to know, the polar bears, are becoming endangered b/c of global warming. Also, b/c the water is warming up, and the earth, the polar bears are coming onto land. Regular bears arent hibernating so soon. There was a case where a polar bear mated with a reg. bear. its offspring was obviously a polar bear/bear hybrid. if this offspring was to continue living it would be the "king" of bears and ultimately overwhelm the reg.bears and polar bears, dominating them and killing them off.
Due to the elevation of temperature, in 1996 a large portion, 2x the size of Texas, broke off from the antarctic. the melting of this will raise of sea levels 1-1/2 feet. and the regular warming will melt the icecaps, raising the water another 1 foot. it doesnt seem like a lot, but water-edged or ares surrounded by water will be highly effected, including California. BTW Californina loses its beaches 1/2 inch per year.
Global warming has been effecting the colder states by creating less snow fall. and the warmer states by creating snow fall. the seasons are being changed as far as the temps according to when the first day of the season are supposed to be, IE: Winter is more into spring, Spring more into summer, summer into fall, fall in to winter and so on......
These are a lot of things that global warming is causing. and just SOME of the effects that are being had b/c of it.
I know this was alot, but i am a firm believer in global warming, some people deny it-like Bush, and if i can educate anyone further on global warming, i will.
I hope this was good enough, and not too much. Thank you for asking about global warming.
Sincerely,
Lanora
P.S. these are some sites i found after i wrote this, none of this was copied and pasted per your request.

Well then how about two educational sites intended to prepare students entering collage on the subject.

How climate really works

Global warming is the increase of the average world temperature with time. The average temperature of the planet has been measured directly (with thermometers) to some extent for something like 120 years. But even 120 years is really a small amount of time on a global scale. The earth goes through cycles that can last many thousands of years--we get an ice age every few hundred thousand years, I think.

Since we began measuring, the world temperature has increased by about 0.6 degrees C. It doesn't sound like much, but even that can change climate. What seems less sure (at least from this scientist's point of view) is whether this is part of a natural cycle, or whether humans have to some degree caused this shift. Some very high-profile organizations (such as the International Panel for Climate Change) believe that humans are entirely responsible. Yet there have been some very vocal and convincing voices from the other side as well.

This is a very basic, incomplete overview. I hope you'll read more on it. Wikipedia is actually not a bad source in this case.
