I know that some folklore has it so that church bells drive off certain things, but I'm not quite sure what. My sister is a folktale nut and was rambling at lunch about how she'd come across some referance or other about it, and was going to look into it. Anybody know, she's looking it up with a bunch of books from our local library, but I'm impatient, and she distrust the internet. Please?
