What is country GM and what does GM stands for?

...or is there another name for country GM?

e.g.
Dell India announced that Sameer Garde will be the new country GM for the company as Rajan Anandan, the current country GM returns to the US to pursue other plans outside Dell.
 
General Manager, as in General Manager for the company (at its India operations). Sameer Garde is replacing Rajan Anandan as the new General Manager in India for Dell.
