What is causing the noise my 2000 Ford Taurus SES makes when I accelerate?

Whenever I hit the accelerator, my car makes a sucking noise (similar to that of a vacuum). The harder I hit the accelerator, the louder the noise. It sounds like it's coming from the front passenger headlight area. Is this something to do with the coolant? Or did a hose just come a little loose? Thanks for the help.
