What is causing my radiator fan to not work for my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo?

I replaced the old idle control valve and didn't work i returned it to oreillys auto parts, then i thought it was the radiator fan motor and bought it and installed it and nothing, i just returned it to oreillys auto parts. I asked them what else it could be and they told me the fuses i checked those and were fine what is wrong what do i do next?
 
Your doing a good job but are shot gunning the parts. I am surprised oreillys is taking the electrical parts back.

You need to get a copy of the electrical circuit of the cooling fan circuit. And a volt ohm meter to check for voltage and resistance.

the cooling fan is turned on and off by a temperature sensor. The sensor controls a relay that turns the fan on and off. the fuse controls the voltage to the relay and temp sensor.

Check the library for a jeep repair manual with schematics.
