I have a 99 jeep TJ with a 6 cylinder and auto transmission. When I shift into drive or reverse it goes in hard. I feel that the idle is a little fast, maybe by 100 or 200 rpms and is causing the transmission to shift that way. What would cause the faster idle? The transmission shifts smooth and performs great the rest of the time.
