Not a bad job choice, first of all I would go ET I think that's the way it works. Since you will be on a sub you have no one to call but yourself as in you have to learn how to fix a lot of stuff. I don't know about your A and C school's cause I'm a different Rate but boot camp in December is cold as heck man It sucks, but boot camp is a breaze man. Just get on ship staff rpoc or division rpoc to have the power.

Hi, am enlisted in the navy and leaving for bootcamp in December. I scored a 96 on my asvap and picked SECF as my job field. (it was actually the only thing they offered me.) Anyways, I'm looking to find out what the school and bootcamp conditions are going to be like. I already know no phonecalls and hard work blah blah blah in bootcamp, What i'm more interested in finding out is what conditions are like. Since I'm in bootcamp in December, I'm assuming it's going to be really cold. How much of bootcamp in Illinois is outside? And what is the training schedule like (morning PT, afternoon class training, night PT, etc.)? Plus my A and C schools, where can I expect to be during this time? Do I stay in Illinois after boot, or is there alot of moving around the whole time i'm in school? What kind of schedule can I expect in A and C schools?
